XOXO, Pinup Artist AnnaCas: Old School Pinup Art with a Modern Twist!
As you all know, I am a pinup lover to the extreme...I have written a Lot about digital pinup art lately and I DO love it....I wanted to write about something a little bit different...just as beautiful, yet different....AnnaCas is a very talented pinup artist living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is educated in fine arts and illustration and has her own line of pinups which combine a contemporary style with the feel of old school pinups.
Being a artist through and through, Anna is experienced in Pinup art, toy art, oil painting, and metal art. She creates hand-drawn pinups for all occasions. She has created pinups of a few of my favorite pinup models such as Inkerbella and Teer Wade. AnnaCas has done beautiful pinups of the everyday woman looking hot in many different styles and poses.
This one is my ultimate fave by AnnaCas! Could it be the red hair? lol
AnnaCas usually runs specials on her MySpace for holidays such as Halloween and Christmas. You should add her and take a look! Her Halloween pinups are some of my favorites! Anna tends to add the models name into the artwork and she sometimes includes a banner with the commission fees of the artwork.
Teer Wade...lovely model and AnnaCas Pinup
Jaime: When did you first become interested in Art?
Anna: Hmmm, I guess since ... I learned to hold a pencil. I used to draw on my school books, notebooks. everywhere.
Jaime: Which artists have inspired you? Do you have a favorite artist?
Anna: Pinup artist: Krysztof Nemeth; I love his style, his bold lines and curves.
El Greco is my all time favorite artist ; he is perfect in all his weirdness and darkness.
Jaime: How do you come up with new, creative ideas and plans for your work?
Anna: Most of the times my ideas come at the moment I get the pencil and look at the blank paper. It all gets shape and I let it flow.
When I am creating a commissioned pinup art I sled lots of time looking at the girl I am working with, read her intentions, make a net search to find the feeling and the right details for her. then I sketch a lot. When i think it is a bit closer to the final image, I add ink, scan it, clean it, and start with colors and corrections.

Jaime: Which painting did you have the most fun working on?
Anna: It might sound funny, but I tend to have fun with the art I am doing at the moment. I really enjoy my work - it pleases me so much to draw that I let myself get into it. if it is not amusing me, I change it. and restart it. I love drawing my pinup girls.

Jaime: How do you feel after having finished a painting?
Anna: When I am creating art, it normally takes several days and it feels like I have it on my mind 24/7. I am always thinking about it, trying to find the best way to express it, the best form, the pose, the right atmosphere. so when I manage to finish it it is a blast. I feel happy, satisfied, proud of it. it is a funny feeling to be honest to be able to see in paper what I had inside my head.
Jaime: How would you describe how you feel about art?
Anna: Oh! it is my life. I get strange, I am a stranger to myself when I am not drawing, painting , sewing or sculpting something. I am a pinup artist, but at first I am an artist. I paint with oil pastels, sew lots of toy art, sculpt with papier marche. art is all over me.
I love this Poison Ivy style pinup!!!Jaime: So...what are you working on right now?
Anna: At this very moment I am working on a very very cute, sexy logo for Cupcake Provocateur. It will be online real soon! Sorry .. no previews .. but I always show the step by step development to the client - since I want it to be just the way they only dreamed about.

Jaime: Where would you like to see your career go in the future?
Anna: Ooh the dream of any illustrator - publish a book about my pinups!
Jaime: Do you have any advice for young artists just starting their careers?
Anna: Go for it! Have an idea and go straight to that. Don´t think twice. it is hard but ... believe yourself, practice a lot. Never get tired of learning and refining your technique and style.
Amazingly SEXY pinups by AnnaCas

Jaime: What do you do for fun when you aren't drawing or painting?
Anna: I love to eat out! Get cozy on the couch and watch Seinfeld, House, Shark week... Go to coffees, and spend time with my family.
Thank you SO much Anna, for giving me and all of my readers the opportunity to get to know more about you and your art! It has truly been a pleasure speaking with you!

Gina: "Many...but with pinup & fantasy art, I drew inspiration from Olivia, Sorayama, Bisely, Frazetta, Dali, and comic book art."
Jaime: What was your first painting?
Gina: "My first pinup style painting was titled "Cruel Intensions". It was a black & white piece done in gouache of a girl wearing a long robe & holding a belt in her mouth."
Jaime: How do you come up with such great ideas in your work?
Gina: "My ideas come from completely random places...they pop in my head when I'm having conversations, looking at photos. I never know when an idea will happen so I always keep a pen and paper handy so I can sketch it out as soon as I think of it."
Jaime: Is there a painting that was your favorite to work on?
Gina: "That's a tough one...each one was fun to work on, so I can't pick a favorite...they all have their own stories that go along with their creation."
Jaime: Can you describe the feeling you get after finishing a painting?
Gina: "It's a great feeling! However, by the time a painting is complete, I have been staring at it for so many hours that I won't want to look at it for a day or two. lol After that, I feel a great sense of accomplishment."
Jaime: What is art to you?
Gina: "Anything creative."
Jaime: Are you working on anything right now?
Gina: "I'm always posting updates of my works in progress on my website, facebook, myspace and twitter. Stop by anytime to see what's new."
Jaime: I think this new masked pinup is my #1 favorite out of all of your artwork.
It's just so gorgous and mysterious.
Jaime: How does it feel to see your work in Hustler Magazine?
Gina: 'It is very rewarding to see my work in print. Also, the pinups for Hustler are a bit naughtier than the work you see on my website, so they are a lot of fun to create."
Jaime: Where would you like to see your career go in the future?
Gina: "I would like to continue creating pinup & fantasy art and have a book of my paintings published."
Jaime: Any advice for young artists just starting out?
Gina: "Work hard....then work even harder. I meet my goals because I am very stubborn & persistent. Also, be sure to learn about the business side of things."
Texas Barbie: Hard, cold, and sexy just like her pistol!
Jaime: What do you do for fun when you aren't drawing or painting?
Gina: "My art takes up SO much of my time, but like most people I enjoy hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy going to fetish events where I can wear latex. I like to try new things...so I'm up for anything."

Thanks so much, Gina, for taking the time to answer all of my questions. It has been a pleasure to interview with you. I am a huge fan and enjoy all of your artwork and look forward to seeing more from you! You have been a delight just as your work is!
More to come with Gina King soon on The Vixen's Voice.

Amy Matthews: Modern, Edgy, and best of all...Erotic Artist!
Amy Matthews is an extremely interesting and sexually in-tune artist who specializes in Erotica paintings, capturing the true essence of female sensuality and doesn't care if her art is considered to be porn by some, in fact, she welcomes the idea. I am not usually that big into pornographic art but her images are so beautiful and just sort of captured me, although I did use her edited versions from MySpace for this article rather than the naughty yet nice paintings from Amy's website. I'm giving you the link so you can go take a look at All of the goodies! You may already be following Amy's work, but if you're not you are missing some amazing art!
Amy is a truly lovely and amazing person and I'm super glad I got the chance to interview her. She has some intriguing views on art and life in general and an awesome personality as you will soon realize from this interview!
Let's get to know Amy!
Jaime: When did you first become interested in Art?
Amy: I always knew that I liked to draw, but I didn’t really consider doing it as a career until I was in high school. It was that realization that I either had to go to college for something that I wasn’t really interested in doing but might get me a job, or going for something that I did enjoy doing and hoping that I would still land a job. But I always drew, ever since I was little.
Jaime: Which artists have inspired you? Do you have a favorite artist?
Amy: Barbara Canepa & Alessamdro Barbucci are great. They did the Skydoll comic. She’s super sexy! Massimilio Frezzato is amazing and his girls are hot, Juanjo Guarnido is another one and John Willie’s fetishy pinup stuff is also an inspiration.
Jaime: Where do your ideas come from? Would you like to tell me about your creative process?
Amy: I always work from photographs, so whether they’re images that I shoot myself or images that I find elsewhere, it always begins with a photo. I’ve never been good at just “making something up” because there’s so much room for getting the perspective or lighting wrong. But inspiration always come from something that turns me on. If the idea isn’t hot, then it’s not going to be a good painting. I try to cover a bit of a range and add variety to my images, so I explore different fetishes and stuff but there are some things that just don’t turn me on, so I won’t be painting them. The whole point is to create the kind of erotic art that I would enjoy looking at. That’s what’s fun for me and hopefully that fun translates into the final image.
Jaime: Which painting did you have the most fun working on?
Amy: There’s one that I did recently of a girl crouching, who’s poured milk all over her pink bits. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to paint the milk droplets without them just looking like white lines all over her. But it actually turned out pretty good. It’s always fun when I’m able to do something that I’ve never done before and I’m constantly being challenged with my erotica because nearly all of them are in unusual positions. I was never too interested in anatomy class, and figure drawing was generally a bore, but I think I’m finally learning all of that anatomy stuff through my recent work. So yay!
Jaime: How do you feel after having finished a painting?
Amy: I normally want to start another one…that is, if all goes well. Sometimes I struggle with certain paintings, and that can wear me out. I get depressed briefly and have to eat ice cream. But the ones that I am happy with make me really excited to do more. But then again, that’s why I’m doing this now, because there’s a lot of boring freelance jobs that come through the line.
Jaime: What is art to you?
Amy: I think art is anything that utilizes a person’s talent. The more talented the person is, the better the art is, in my book. I’d also like to say that I am totally not opposed to people considering my illustrations to be porn. I like porn! If my work turns people on, that’s awesome!
Jaime: What are you working on right now? Can i have a preview? ![]()
Amy: Actually, I try to keep my blog updated pretty regularly. I’m simply trying to create as many images as I can right now, so that I can eventually launch the full site. But in the meantime, you can peek at my blog archives to see a brief collection of recent work. I'm working on a three girl painting right now.
Jaime: Where would you like to see your career go in the future?
Amy: I would really like to produce my style of erotic illustration for some of the big hitters in the adult entertainment industry. There are some out there who are doing pretty cool things and making style a priority. It would be really nice to pay the bills with the money made on this work, so that I could turn down the majority of the other boring jobs that come through. I would also LOVE to put a series of books out!
Jaime: Do you have any advice for young artists just beginning their careers?
Amy: Reference! Make sure that when you do any artwork that you have plenty of reference material. That’s the key (and my excuse as to why I have a large library of porn LOL)
Jaime: What do you do for fun when you aren’t drawing or painting?
Amy: Lots of baking, which leads to lots of working out…and then watching dirty movies (for research purposes of course!)
Jaime: Thanks so much, Amy, for taking this time out from your busy schedule to talk to me and my readers! I have had the best time getting to know more about you!
I told you guys Amy has the most awesome personality! I just love her work! The Vixen's Voice will be keeping up with Amy's work and I will let you guys know as she puts out more erotic art for your pleasure! ![]()

Fumiko Barrows: Creating Unique Pinups and Beautiful Art is her thing!
You all know I'm constantly on the lookout for art I haven't seen....it's sort of like discovering treasure for me. I first came across Fumiko Barrows on MySpace.
I was enchanted by her unique style and beautiful artwork. I loved her sexy anime paintings plus her paintings of some of her MySpace friends. The likeness to the original photos is extremely realistic with gorgeous detail and colors. No wonder she has nearly 3,000 friends/fans on MySpace. Of course, I had to write about her and share some of her art with my loyal readers!
MySpace Inspired Painting
An Artist who can create materpieces through any Art Medium!
First, a little background on Fumiko Barrows. She is an extremely interesting person and an amazing artist. She is a San Diego native who lives near the beach with her fiance and kitty and enjoys an active lifestyle in the beautiful city. Fumiko grew up with her Japanese grandmother whom she is named after and grew up in the midst of Japanese culture. She is currently learning Japanese and intends to visit Japan next year where her art seems to be very popular. She started doing art through traditional means such as acrylic and oil paintings, pastel drawings, colored pencil, watercolor, and ink. She can create original art through any art mediums and offers original paintings and one of a kind art. Fumiko has studied many styles and art forms being a chameleon of art until she found her own style in 2007. For many years she struggled as many of us do from job to job, never finding fulfillment. One day she lost her job and was unable to easily find another one due to the weak economy. She was forced to explore her talent and strive to make a living through her art. Although she says she hasn't attained a huge income or world renown fame, she is infinitely happier and more dedicated than ever to pursue her dreams and reach the goals she has set for herself. She practices everyday and immerses herself in things that inspire her.
More MySpace Friend Inspired Art

How did Barrows get started?
Fumiko just got started in digital art five years ago on a website called oekaki . This is an online drawing and critique website for developing and skilled artists. Fumiko has always been a huge anime fan and fell in love with this form of drawing and then started drawing with the mouse. She got better and better at drawing with a mouse and received numerous requests from fans. Mouse drawing took so many hours so Fumiko bought a graphics tablet two years ago and says her skills have greatly improved and so has her speed. She went from doing anime fan art to drawing for friends and family until someone suggested that she join MySpace to share her work.
It was there she found beautiful photographs which inspired her and began drawing people from MySpace. After she shared the first three drawings, the requests flooded in and she decided to offer this service to the public. The tablet she uses is a Wacom Graphire 4x6. She uses this with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and is currently learning Painter and Manga Studio to make graphic novels and more painterly art.
Gotta love this schoolgirl fighting an Alien teacher!
I had to find out more about Fumiko
So... I asked her what the first painting she ever did was. She said it was an acrylic painting of Bettie Page ten years ago! So now I think she is even cooler than I already thought. The first digital drawing Fumiko did was with a mouse and it was of a geisha girl and so was her first tablet drawing which had huge success with her fans and friends. After her first tablet drawing of the geisha girl she was in love with digital art and and began to prefer it over traditional means but never left traditional art behind. Fumiko still gets many commissions for fine art paintings to adorn people's homes as well as original colored pencil designs for fan's tattoos and portraits.
So I had to know: What inspires this amazing, creative, artistic woman?
Fumiko responded without hesitation, "Things that inspire me are unique style, confidence, and originality. I am greatly inspired by japanese culture and trends as well as fashion styles and music. I love gothic & lolita style and all things kawaii *cute*. I love to see people's unique sense of style and beauty, also other artists such and Mizuno Junko, Mitsukazu Mihara, Odd Nerdrum, Rembrandt, Da Vinci, and many others inspired me greatly. I find by studying master that you love your own art greatly improves!"
My personal favorite! A Japanese Princess, isn't she beautiful!
Fumiko has her own hand-made Jewelry Line
Fumiko Barrows started making beautiful jewelry two years ago when her aunt invited her to a jewelry-making class. She started out making beaded necklaces but last year discovered the joy of polymer clay and has been making her own unique designs ever since. She has been selling these items since April of this year. She has done some very pretty pieces with Panda designs, kitties, and pastries. All of her stuff is gorgeous!

Fumiko says her greatest accomplishment has been becoming a full-time artist and selling her work to people all over the world. Her goal is to establish her own style and release a line of clothing and accessories that will be sold in boutiques and online stores and eventually open up her very own boutique! Fumiko feels she has always been a fashion designer at heart and says she mixes her art with her sense of fashion.
The advice Fumiko Barrows offers to aspiring artists is this:
"There is no such thing as talent! There is only Passion and Practice. Anyone can be an artist if they love to draw. All you need to do is Practice, Practice, Practice! I used to believe i had to go to school and get a degree to become a successful artist but I realized that passion and love for your art is the key. Also, just do it! No more excuses that you don't have time or it's too hard. Do the thing and you'll find the energy to do the thing. Don't believe in failure and you will never fail".
Pinup Painting inspired by a Suicide Girls Photograph
What's Next for Fumiko Barrows?
Fumiko is presently working on two graphic novels with another in the works and is always willing to collaborate with other artists, models, and writers. Plus she is always looking to make new friends! She is currently working on a website that will be up by August 1st where you can acquire original t-shirt design, prints, and original art! I know I can't wait to see it and get me some of that awesome art!! You will be seeing more of Fumiko's work here at The Vixen's Voice and everywhere else! She is an inspiring individual and I plan to keep track of her work! Check out her work at Deviant Art, one of my favorite websites! Oh, and don't forget to add Fumiko on MySpace!
And Remember,
Pinup or Shut up!

TESS FOWLER: Comic Artist Extroidanairre
This is my very first interview I will post on The Vixen's Voice and I'm Super-excited to introduce Tess Fowler! Tess is first and foremost a Comic Artist, she is also experienced in sketch art, painting, etc. I first found out about Tess when I was doing an article about Scarlett Harlott, one of her models. I instantly added Tess on MySpace and I was pleasantly surprised to see Tess had done beautiful works of some of my favorite characters, including Elektra, other Marvel women, and the Fantastic Four.

Tess Fowler is an amazing comic artist, sketch artist, and more recently an erotic artist. She has created a line of Art called "Steampunk Erotica", which I find freakin' awesome and intriguing. Tess has a great website and a really cool forum which I am a registered member of!
And Now: The lovely, the talented...Tess Fowler!!!! Just imagine a booming voice announcing her name...like on a talk show or in a wrestling show! lol
A portrait of Tess Fowler by Tess Fowler ![]()

Jaime: Which artists have inspired you? Do you have a favorite artist?
Tess: I've been inspired by so many. off the top of my head: Boris Vallejo, Brom, Giger, Joe Jusko, Simon Bisley. For comics inspiration: Neal Adams,Kevin Eastman, George Perez, The Romitas, Phil Noto...that's just to name a few. Frank Frazetta has to top the list for favorite painters and comic artists both, but of the more recent artists I'd have to say Eduardo Risso is my favorite in comics right now. And Simon Bisley and Joe Jusko in the painting department.
Jaime: What was your first illustration of?
Tess: My first published illustration, or the first one I ever did as a kid? When I was little I drew a lot of horses and women with swords. my sister had a Boris Vallejo book that I got my hands on one day, and that along with my brother's Heavy metal Magazines changed my life. My first official publication was actually sketch cards I believe. Lord of the Rings if I'm not mistaken. My first magazine was Heavy Metal in 2007. They featured some of my paintings.
Painting featured in Heavy Metal Mag (2007)
Jaime: Where do your ideas come from? Would you like to tell me about your creative process?
Tess: When it comes to paintings (a medium I'm still experimenting with) I tend to paint women I find attractive. Models from the costuming world that have personalities I enjoy. I am a comic artist heart and soul. I like to illustrate personalities and characters that are fully rounded. As far as regular illustrations go, my husband Chris(he's an artist too) have found ourselves inspired by a lot of different movies over the past few years. If we go out to rent movies we'll pick the most random things because it expands our visual horizons. The first one that comes to mind is "City of Lost Children". I got off on such a Steampunk kick in my art after that. And when I did work for the band Abney Park Chris and I really started delving deeper into the Steampunk culture for ideas for art. Since Chris is by nature a born concept artist we have a lot of fun creating new themes and characters together. Did I answer the original question with all that rambling? (laughter)
"Rebel Engineer" 2009 My FAVE!!! "First In Flight" 2009

Jaime: What do you feel has been your most significant work?
Tess: That's hard to answer. I'd say right now, personally, it's the piece I am doing of my seven martial arts instructors. Never have I spent so much time pouring heart and soul into a piece of artwork that's that big. professionally it's the comic book I am working on right now called "Prometheus Unbound" that's based on those same men. It's also a Steampunk book that focuses on the occult. Within the first page i've broken new ground and gone far beyond what I thought I was capable of.
Jaime: Can you tell me what inspired your idea to do a piece of artwork of seven martial arts instructors?
Tess: Actually they themselves inspired me. Ever read "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman? These seven men have that "way" well in hand. I met them when I was 21-22, and I've never been the same since.
Jaime: Cool. I haven't read it but I will have to now!
"Malice" 2009
Jaime: How do you feel after having finished a painting?
Tess: Like I would really enjoy not having my hand cramp like that anymore. LOL. That photoshop stylus is a beast. But seriously, it's a sense of satisfaction mixed with dread because I know when I come back and look at it in 24 hours I am going to see things I could have done better. I don't feel painting comes naturally to me. but I enjoy the process so I keep going, improving as I do each new piece.
"Airship Harlott" 2009
Jaime: Is there a project that has been your favorite and why?
Tess: Out of my most recent paintings my favorite ongoing project was "The Doll" because it was my first time painting a girl that inspired me that much in a completely non sensual or sexual way. She's only 15, and I began to wonder about all those stories about painters who became obsessed with their muses and wondered if I was beginning to feel that. Like, I could just draw and paint that girl a million times and never get tired of it. There's no attraction in me for her. She's just a baby. From day one I have felt like she's the daughter I'd love to have one day. She's just that cool.
"The Doll" 2009 Isn't she just beautiful!
Jaime: Have you found the internet to affect your popularity?
Tess: Yes! it's been the most effective tool of my young career so far. But it's also been scary. i've had a few stalkers. People say things to me online they'd never say to a man.
Jaime: What are you working on right now? Can i have a preview? ![]()
Tess: My current project is a comic book with Scot King called "Prometheus Unbound". No publisher officially connected to it yet, and no previews for another week or so! it's not ready yet. Still working on pin ups. But that's taken a back seat to my commission list and the book.
Jaime: What do you look for in a model? How do you find your models?
Tess: I don't find them. They find me. They literally fall into my lap at some point and I go, "Hey! You're amazing! Can I paint you??" It's always something different about them that makes me want to paint them. But it all comes down to personality eventually. Lots of pretty faces out there but I won't paint you more than once if you don't have some kind of a personality that keeps me intrigued. I'm fickle that way.
Rainbow Girl and Lady Lestat Slave Leia

Jaime: Where would you like to see your career go in the future?
Tess: The sky's the limit at this point. I just want to be able to do what I love, and share it with the folks who can appreciate it. My father once told me that a gift unshared is a wasted gift. I'd like to do him proud. (And maybe completely take the world by storm and have my name all over the place so everwhere you look there's my work! (laughs)
"Clockwork Sass" 2009
Jaime: What do you do for fun when you aren't drawing or painting?
Tess: Hah! That's funny. There are other things besides artwork? For as long as I can remember this is all I've ever done.
Jaime: Thank you Tess so much for spending this time with me and answering all of my questions in such a straightforward way. I have had the best time getting to know you and I know my readers will too. I hope to have you back again soon to hear more about your work. Thank you, i know you are super busy.
To my Readers: Never fear! I will keep you updated on the growing works of Tess Fowler, the comics, the book, and any other artwork! Yeah, she rocks! You will see more of Tess here at the Vixen's Voice!!! Until then, check out the website of Tess Fowler and don't forget to look her up on MySpace.

Pirate Pinups are scantily clad, sassy and sexy!
Sounds like a pinup to me but...with a sword and a gun
.
A Bit of Pirate Bombshell History: Anne Bonny
It has been said that Anne Bonny was intelligent and pretty with a hot temper. The already married Anne met Captain John "Calico Jack" Rackham and had an affair. There was an offer out for Rackham to buy a "divorce for purchase" but she refused to be "bought and sold like cattle" and escaped from being flogged for adultery. Check out the hot pinup art by Ed Beard Jr. below depicting Anne Bonny as a sexy pirate girl.
Okay...so I'm super busy Cinderella wifey/mommy this week. I have been wanting to write an article on Bunnies for Easter, but the pics I have chosen will have to speak for themselves this time! I promise to be writing more after the holiday!
So it's Easter...and here are some Playboy Bunnies...all retro and hot!

Nerd Girl Pinups: Intelligent, Sexy, and Nerdy; What more can you ask for?
Nerd Girl Pinups is a photo based website created by those who think Nerd girls are sexy and underrated! Hell yeah!
The dorky little gamer girls or bookworms who have grown up into full on beauties but stay true to themselves and their nerdy nature. They don't have to be embarrassed about being nerds anymore, they embrace who they are and add a twist of sexy into the mix. They can keep up with the top men in their field of work and have learned to flaunt their assets....I mean intelligence by assets of course lol. Nerd Girl Pinups have taken the nerdy girl into a new genre: Pinups. They celebrated the Nerd Girl with Pinup Photography and I say Kudos to you guys for that! Being a pinup lover and um....well...I'm not really a braniac so I guess I can't classify myself as a Nerd Girl...dang it....but I do love Superheros, does that make me somewhat of a nerd girl? hmmm....anyway, I think the Nerd Girls of this site are uber hot and what makes them hotter is knowing that they could kick your ass in pretty much anything requiring brain-power. Ha!
Not sure where I found this photo online months ago: I saved it because I thought my 11-year old son would dig it. lol.
The site features ladies/models who are also bloggers, singers, toy and memorabelia collectors, gamers, costumers, magicians and jugglers, and more! These women are intelligent, interesting, funny, ambitious, gorgeous, and best of all, nerdy!
Harleen Quinzel: Comic and Game lovin' Magician/Juggler!
Her Pinup name is Harleen Quinzel, she is 25 years old and her nerdiest obsession is magic and juggling. she is obviously gorgeous and tends to spend a lot of time "analyzing films to death". She also spends much of her time in used bookstores and her biggest pet peeve is "people with self-assigned nicknames".

Whether it's watching them on movies or TV, reading comics, drawing or painting them, or dressing up in costume as one of these gorgeous gals, people of all ages around the world love Superheroines.

What is a Pinup Girl anyway?
A pinup girl is a model whose pictures are mass produced for everyone to view. Pinups are glamour and fashion models and actresses. The age of the pinup began mainly in the 1930's by such artists' popularity as Alberto Vargas and George Petty.
Their work was hanging on walls of garages and saloons everywhere<< MORE >>
